'pcdc.co.uk’ was formed in 2004 following an initiative by two Diabetes
Specialist Nurses from Rupert Bear Ward and Willows at Mayday Hospital.
(We are also known as Croydon Voluntary Group for Parents, Diabetes UK)
We are parents whose children have Diabetes and we generally meet informally to discuss issues related to our children's condition but occasionally we have invited speakers and representatives coming to our meetings. We nearly always have a representative from the diabetes clinic staff attend too, more often than not
one or both of our PDSNs.
We are the only parents run group in Croydon and have a close relationship with Mayday.
We meet on the first Wednesday of every month, (with the exception of august),
at 7pm till 9pm, in
THE WOODCROFT MEETING ROOM,
Mayday University Hospital
530 London Road
Croydon
CR7 7YE
It is situated opposite the Therapies Dept, in Yellow zone, in the Woodcroft wing, and all are welcome to attend, (Please feel free to bring children if child care is an issue).

8.15pm - 9.00pm 'Parents time!'
Need to discuss anything? Just want to chat? Now is the time!
We will not be keeping a strict regime at our meetings but will endeavour to
have ‘some’ organisation!
